On April 14, DZF premiered "We Be Multiplying", written by students at the Chief Shikellamy STEAM program featuring Eric Rachau as lead vocals and students of the program on background vocals.
The song begins with a vignette detailing a frustration many students feel as they learn to multiply: they just don't see the connection right away between addition and multiplication. The students engaged in lessons around this concept, then used that experience to take what they learned and apply it to writing the lyrics of the song. The song gives a summary of the process and then gives multiple examples to further understanding for math students.
